Terms of Service — Nidus

Accounts

You must create an account to use Nidus. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Subscription terms

• Free tier: Nidus offers a free tier with limited monthly usage of AI-powered features (receipt scanning/OCR, recipe parsing and generation).
• Premium: A paid subscription removes monthly limits. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase.
• Free trial: New Premium subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. If not cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid plan automatically.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policy of the platform through which you purchased your subscription. We do not process refunds directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Nidus for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' or households' data without authorization.
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.

Household sharing

Nidus allows multiple users to share a "household" and its data (receipts, budgets, meal plans). Anyone you invite to your household will be able to view and edit shared household data. You are responsible for who you invite.

Disclaimer of warranties

Nidus is provided "as is". Recipe suggestions, nutritional information, and spending insights are generated automatically and may contain errors — they are provided for convenience and do not constitute professional dietary or financial advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
